Designation: Software Engineer
Salary: 22 LPA - 30 LPA
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree
Experience: 0-3 years
Required Skill Sets
Technical Skills:
- Programming Languages: Proficient in any one of the following languages- C, C++, Java, or Python.
- Operating Systems: Working knowledge of Unix/Linux, Windows, or macOS.
- Distributed Systems: Familiarity with distributed system concepts and architectures.
- Machine Learning & Data Analysis: Understanding of machine learning principles and experience with data structures and algorithms. (Combine these for better flow)
- Networking: Familiarity with TCP/IP protocols and network concepts.
- Accessibility: Experience developing technologies that are usable by everyone.
- Infrastructure & Systems: Experience building and managing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, or networks. Additionally, familiarity with computer technologies, storage solutions, and/or hardware architecture is a plus.
Communication Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Job Description:
The purpose of this role is to maintain and scale Google’s massive products and infrastructures and bring fresh ideas to the table to improve it. Google is beyond web search and therefore the requirements are not limited to it but more than that. The engineer must be able to solve problems and design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.
As a software engineer, you have to
- Develop software: This includes writing code for new features, products, or systems.
- Collaborate on design decisions: You'll work with colleagues and other stakeholders to choose the best technologies for a project.
- Review and improve code: This involves checking code written by others for quality, efficiency, and adherence to coding standards. You'll provide feedback to help them improve their work.
- Maintain documentation: You'll contribute to existing guides and tutorials, keeping them up-to-date with product changes and user needs.
- Troubleshoot and fix problems: When issues arise, you'll analyze the cause and impact, then debug and resolve them to ensure smooth operation.
